Skills & Abilities:

An accounting qualification is not essential, however, sufficient accounting knowledge and experience is necessary to complete the role
Good IT skills and competent using excel
This is an unpaid role within the Trustees of the Charity. Although the number of financial transactions are small, the position does require a high level of commitment in terms of time and would ideally suit someone whom works part-time or is retired

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including bank reconciliation and analysis of expenditure
  • Preparation of schedules for annual audit
  • Preparation of Trustees Report & analysis for AGM
  • Attendance at Trustee Meeting and financial review
  • Liaise with auditors and bank
  • Submission of annual return
  • Management of Auto enrolment pension
