Little Bailey is one of several dogs who were living in neglectful conditions, with many complaints made to the authorities over the years so eventually the owners made the right decision to hand him in to rescue. Despite his sad past, Bailey is a gentle soul with so much love to give and it is just humbling that dogs are so forgiving.
Bailey has not lived with small pets but he has lived with cats - he actively likes cats and would even sleep with a dog-savvy cat in the foster home where he was staying before coming to DBARC. He has also lived happily with other dogs. He has lived with children but it is not known as to whether they were kind to him, so we would wish to place him without young children in the home.
Bailey has a non-moulting coat which was in a dreadful state when he came to us so adopters will need to have this regularly clipped
