Adorable little Sammy is one of several dogs who were removed from a very difficult situation and who have now been legally signed over for rehoming. Sammy is a real little darling who just wants to be cuddled and loved, but due to his sad past, he lacks confidence and may be worried in new situations. He has likely seen nothing of the outside world so will need kind and careful introduction to things. He had never walked on a lead before coming to DBARC, for instance, so clearly has a lot to learn. Due to his inexperience, we would not wish to place him with children under 10. He has not lived with cats or small pets, but is used to living with other dogs, although would likely be intimidated by large or boisterous dogs.
Sammy is a kind and easy dog to handle, and will make a loyal and loving companion. He has always lived with other dogs and is not used to being home alone, so will need company most of the time.
